Build · Connected System
For work that moves through several steps, systems or people. Root Delta turns the hand-offs into one agreed process with clear ownership and a useful result.
Entered directly, within a published price band. See the price range.
The problem
A Connected System exists for one reason: too much depends on a step, tool or person that nobody else can see.
Something is logged where it is first noticed. It gets rekeyed into whatever tool the next person actually uses. Once it has been handed off, the person who started it has no way of checking whether it moved.
Root Delta looks at where the work actually stalls, not at where a process diagram says it should.
Someone notes it down in whichever tool they happen to be using.
The next person retypes the same information into their own system.
Once it is handed off, nobody upstream can see what happened to it.
Fit check
Connected System suits a single important workflow that already exists but is not joined up: an enquiry, a job, a document or a request moving through several hands. If several people are going to live inside the result day to day, rather than one process passing through it, Operational Web System is more likely the fit. If it is really one repeated task rather than a process with several steps, a Quick Win may be enough on its own.
If the fix is really one task rather than the whole process, we will say so rather than scope the larger job.
What changes
The exact shape depends on the work. These are typical of what changes.
Illustrative examples only, not client work. The fit call helps identify the boundary, and the written quote confirms the actual scope.

Questions
It fits when one important outcome depends on several steps, tools or people, and a single small automation would leave the main problem in place. We check whether that is really true before recommending it; if one repeated task turns out to be enough, a Quick Win is the better start.
Only where the volume earns it: summarising a backlog of messages, or drafting the next step for someone to confirm. It takes on the sorting and drafting; a person still makes the decision.
Not necessarily. The starting point is how the work happens today, connecting or improving existing tools where that is sensible rather than adding a new platform just to create work.
Your written quote sets out the agreed outcome, included work, exclusions, how the result will be checked, dates, any material third-party costs, VAT and the total payable.
The system is deployed to a supported managed cloud service in your own account, which you own, pay for and administer. Root Delta does not provide hosting.
Your accounts and data stay under your control. Where a delivered feature needs an account to run, such as an AI provider, it is set up in your name and billed to you, not to Root Delta, so the system is fully yours to operate. The agreement also sets out ownership of the agreed business-specific work and the licence for any standard Root Delta components.
A qualifying accepted system may be assessed for Delta Care once it passes its agreed checks and the written care terms are in place, but that comes after acceptance: Root Delta first hands over the agreed documentation and next steps. Delta Care itself is software-only monitoring, practical triage and planned improvements; anything beyond that is quoted separately. See Delta Care →
Every deliverable is checked against its agreed result and the agreed way of checking it. During the agreed defect period, Root Delta corrects reproducible material failures of the accepted deliverable to meet that result; new requirements or extra features are separate written changes.
Yes, where responsibilities, access and decisions are agreed before delivery begins. Root Delta remains accountable for the work in its scope.
